This new 36-page full colour book narrated by John Hulme and
featuring watercolours by Bernice Barrett-Brown welcomes
visitors to The Weaver Valley Regional Park.

The Park is much more than the River Weaver.
It extends to the non-navigable River Dane and its tributary
the River Wheelock and also includes the important Trent & Mersey and Shropshire Union Canals.

CHELFORD STATION GARDEN SHORTLISTED FOR AWARD

Volunteers at Chelford station have been shortlisted for the 2008 ACORP National Community Rail Awards in the best station garden category. The nomination is in recognition of the volunteers hard work and generosity in giving up their spare time in transforming the station. The awards will be announced on 19th September at Plymouth.
