ALTRINCHAM STATION BOOKING OFFICE IS CLOSED

The Booking Office at Altrincham is closed for refurbishment from Monday 5th October 2009 for 6 to 8 weeks.  Train services are not affected - trains will call at Altrincham as normal.

Customers can buy rail tickets for travel on the same day from staff who will be at the station during the day, or from conductors on the trains.  However, the full range of tickets will not be available, nor those for Metrolink.  Metrolink season tickets can be obtained from the GMPTE Travelshop adjacent to stand B on the bus station (closed on Sundays).

For those travelling from Hale station the booking office at this station is open from 07.00 to 13.40 Monday to Friday.  Hale booking office is closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Wilmslow, Manchester Airport and Stockport have the nearest stations with a ticket office and staff who can assist customers requiring advance purchase tickets and more complex information.
