LIVE MUSIC TRAIN TO MOBBERLEY: THURSDAY 21ST AUGUST

Root Chords will be performing on the 18:56 train from Chester to Mobberley on Thursday 21st August.


The train calls at Mouldsworth (19:07), Delamere (19:12), Cuddington (19:16), Greenbank (19:21), Northwich (19:26), Lostock Gralam (19:29), Plumley (19:32) and Knutsford (19:37), before arriving at Mobberley.  The music continues in the Railway Inn which is a short 3 minute walk from the station and serves real ale and food.


There's no need to book in advance - just turn up and purchase a regular train ticket.  If two travel together, 25% can be saved off the normal adult return fare with a Duo ticket. 


The subsequent music train on the line will take place on Wednesday 24th September, and feature Geoff Higginbotham.

Volunteers at Chelford station have been shortlisted for the 2008 ACORP National Community Rail Awards in the best station garden category. The nomination is in recognition of the volunteers hard work and generosity in giving up their spare time in transforming the station. The awards will be announced on 19th September at Plymouth.
