VISIT STOCKPORT AIR RAID SHELTERS AND STAIRCASE HOUSE FOR FREE!

Stockport's award winning Air Raid Shelters (short walk from the station) will be open for FREE from 1pm-5pm on Friday 12th September and Sunday 14th September. Staircase House, a beautifully restored medieval trader's house, right next to the market place will also be available free of charge on Thursday 11th September and Saturday 13th September 10am - 5pm.

VISIT BRAMALL HALL FOR FREE!

Free guided tours of Bramall Hall will be available as part of the Heritage Open Day initiative, on Sunday 14th September. Bramall Hall is accessible from Cheadle Hulme station by an easy walk through the Ladybrook Valley.

The nomination is in recognition of the volunteers hard work and generosity in giving up their spare time in transforming the station. The awards will be announced on 19th September at Plymouth.
